Weaving Workshop at Hoot & Howl | 70s Themed

Pull out those bell bottoms, dust off your go go boots, & start working on those disco dance moves! Grab your favorite friends or treat yourself to a retro night out & come learn how to create a round weaving with me at Hoot & Howl! I will be teaching you how to make your own 8 inch round weaving using some of my favorite techniques that I’ve learned over the years!

You’ll have the option of picking one of three color ways for your weaving. Each kit will contain one warped metal hoop to make your weaving on, one tapestry needle, & at least 7 oz of various fibers, including cotton cord, wool roving, acrylic yarn. 

If you have a wool allergy, please let me know immediately so I can make the appropriate changes to your kit. If I do not know beforehand, I will not be able to sub out materials for you! Also please note that your kits may not have the *exact* fiber types that shown in each photo due to supply shortages, but the general color palette will be the same. All kits will contain at least 2 oz of wool roving.

PRICE: $75 per person, which includes a weaving kit (warped metal hoop, 7+ oz of fiber, tapestry needle), 3 hours of instruction, light refreshments, & FUN! 
SPOTS AVAILABLE: 9 - ages 7 & up are welcome!
THEME: 70s, baby!!! Please please please dress up in your best disco or hippie outfit - I absolutely will be!

Please note that this is an IN PERSON EVENT & that no virtual instruction will be given. Tickets are non-refundable, but may be transferred under special circumstances that are made aware to either myself or Stephanie at least 24 hours prior to the class time.
